What is the eMentorship program and how do I access eMentorship career development resources?

The de Souza Institute eMentorship program builds on a successful Mentorship Program that was launched for advanced practice nurses (APNs) in 2007 by the Ontario Oncology APN Community of Practice, Cancer Care Ontario, and the School of Nursing at McMaster University. With the support of the de Souza Institute, the program has expanded to include all Ontario nurses. This includes nurses involved in a variety of cancer related and non-cancer related specialties. As of April 2013, the eMentorship program officially transitioned to the de Souza Institute in Toronto.

All eMentorship career development resources are available on the de Souza Institute’s website eMentorship section. Resources include information on coaching, preceptoring and mentoring, as well as resources on how to write your resume and prepare for an interview.

The online Mentorship Community and Matching System has been closed, as the eMentorship program is transitioning its systems and processes.
